3D Laser Scanning Services

We capture existing conditions using professional 3D laser scanning and a structured on-site acquisition methodology designed to ensure complete, accurate coverage of the building.

For larger and more complex projects, scan positions are carefully planned throughout the site to capture each space from multiple locations, maintain strong overlap between scans, reduce blind spots, and accurately connect rooms, floors, circulation areas, façades, and exterior zones into a consistent dataset.

The scan data are then registered, cleaned, and processed into an accurate point cloud that provides a precise and up-to-date digital record of the existing conditions. Depending on project requirements, the point cloud can be established within a local project coordinate system or georeferenced and aligned to a client-specified coordinate system, allowing the data to integrate seamlessly with existing surveys, site plans, CAD files, and other project information.

The resulting point cloud can be measured, reviewed, and used as the reliable reference for drawings and 3D models.

Working from reliable measured data gives architects, designers, and contractors a stronger starting point, reduces unnecessary site verification, and helps limit errors and rework.
