Scan to BIM

We use the processed point cloud to create accurate 3D models of existing buildings for design, renovation, and coordination workflows.

Each model is developed according to the project scope and the Level of Detail (LOD) required by the client. Depending on the project requirements, the model can include architectural elements, structural components, visible MEP systems, and other building features at the appropriate level of detail.

Throughout the modeling process, the 3D model is checked against the original scan data to verify geometry, dimensions, alignment, and the position of key building elements. These scan-to-model quality checks help ensure that the final model accurately reflects the measured existing conditions.

The model can also support comparison between the original design intent and the conditions actually built on site, helping project teams identify variations in geometry, openings, service penetrations, equipment locations, and other key construction elements.

By working from a model based on precise site measurements and verified against the point cloud, architects, contractors, developers, and project teams can coordinate more efficiently, reduce uncertainty, and develop design solutions on a reliable, up-to-date digital base.
