This high-end residential project in Miami required comprehensive 3D laser scanning and precise as-built documentation to support a custom renovation designed around the property’s existing features.
Both the interior and exterior of the residence were scanned to capture accurate measurements and provide the architect with a complete understanding of the existing conditions.
The exterior was captured in full color, producing a detailed and realistic point cloud that could also be used to generate accurate architectural elevations if required at a later stage.
Particular attention was given to the outdoor areas, including the swimming pool, decking, landscaping, vegetation, and other existing site features. These elements were carefully documented and incorporated into detailed site plans.
The final deliverables provided the architect with a reliable foundation for designing precise, tailor-made renovations while ensuring that all proposed modifications could be coordinated with the property’s existing layout and features.
